Introduction to Bede Polding College

Bede Polding College is a comprehensive coeducational high school offering education from Year 7 to Year 12. We are a Diocesan high school serving the greater Hawkesbury region and the parishes of Windsor and Richmond.

Our school opened in 1986 with 110 pupils and a staff of 9. Over the years our College has grown to an enrolment in excess of 1200 pupils and a combined staff of 100.

Our success is due in no small measure to the excellent foundation of a tradition of service, cooperation and partnership between the community, staff and pupils.

This sentiment is perhaps best encapsulated in the words of Br John McDonnell (past Principal) "Bede Polding College offers a personalised family environment of students, parents and staff (the Bede Polding Family) which creates an atmosphere enlivened by the Gospel Spirit of freedom, compassion, reconciliation and charity where there is care, concern, guidance, support, respect and a discipline that seeks to promote a sense of self worth and an awareness of the needs of others."
